The WEBB Remedy Podcast
The WEBB Remedy Podcast is an entrepreneurial Mindset Shifting project of WEBB Squared "Wealth through Entrepreneurship for Black and Brown Businesses" a North Carolina non-profit. WEBB's mission is to redress the racial wealth gap and build generational wealth by providing incubator-accelerator services to Black and Brown businesses. As an incubator-accelerator, WEBB Squared specializes in supporting BIPOC entrepreneurs, aiding them in overcoming internal obstacles to tackle external challenges with greater efficacy and autonomy.
Through tailored coaching and innovative training, WEBB expedites this transformation, empowering entrepreneurs to develop their enterprises with confidence, resources, and influence, thereby effecting positive change within themselves, their businesses, and their communities.
The WEBB Remedy Podcast is hosted by Stephanie Terry and Rinnie Orr, the co-founders and directors of WEBB Squared. The podcast accompanies a weekly Monday Mindset reminder blog and email to the entrepreneurs in the WEBB program. We believe that "our evolution begins with dialogue" and we aim to discuss and model the sometimes difficult and vulnerable conversations around mindset growth and transformation.

Reprogramming Your Habits: Embracing New Identities for Lasting Change
Welcome to Season 5 of The Remedy Podcast.
This season we will focus on habits and cover how habits are formed and provide practical tips (“HACKS”) for creating positive habits and breaking unhelpful ones.
Meet "The Remedy" hosts:
Stephanie Terry, Executive Director and Co-Founder of WEBB Squared
Rinnie Orr, Associate Director and Co-Founder of WEBB Squared
Today's talking points include:
- the challenge of changing habits
- the challenge of breaking the cycle of repetitive thinking
- the subconscious impact of repetitive thoughts on personality and identity
- how examining and redefining self-identity aids in changing habits
- Habit Hack - purposefully claiming a new identity
Food for thought on Identity and Self-Perception:
- How do the concepts of self-perception and socialization influence an individual’s identity and behaviors?
- What role does negative self-talk play in shaping a person's self-image and actions?
- How can someone begin to shift their identity to support new habits?
- Describe the visualization exercise suggested. How can visualizing an aspirational identity help with behavior change?
- Why is consistency important in the process of change?
Practical Application:
- Think about a habit you would like to change or one you want to add to your life and routine. What specific action should you take to incorporate the new habit or behavior into your life? Does the habit or behavior accompany an identity change? In what ways can the "New You" influence the change?
